The Parramatta River Catchment Group (PRCG) was pleased to join representatives from two of our member agencies, the City of Ryde and Sydney Water, at the launch of the Resilient Sydney Strategy 2025–2030 on 29 April at Sydney Town Hall.
The strategy sets out a regional vision to build resilience through collaboration, equity, sustainability, and preparedness. It emphasises the importance of green and blue spaces that play a key role in improving liveability, Caring for Country, and environmental stewardship.
Developed with input from over 30 councils, including all 10 PRCG member councils, and agencies such as Sydney Water, the strategy also features the PRCG’s efforts to restore the Parramatta River as a case study, recognising our shared work to make the river swimmable again and create healthier, more connected communities.
