PRCG Full Group meeting celebrates leadership and transition

It was a special quarterly meeting for the Parramatta River Catchment Group (PRCG). Hosted by Inner West Council on 1 August, the meeting marked the official introduction of the new PRCG Secretariat, recognised the ongoing contributions of the Senior Leadership Team, and expressed our gratitude to the outgoing Community Representatives for their dedicated three years of service.

Special thanks were given to the departing PRCG Chair, Clr Mark Drury, and Vice Chair, Councillor Kellie Darley, for their outstanding leadership and advocacy. We also acknowledged Clr Drury for his decade-long commitment to the PRCG, including his role as Chair from 2017 to 2024.

Inner West Council Mayor Darcy Byrne attended the start of the meeting to commend the Council’s role as PRCG host agency and to highlight Clr Drury’s considerable dedication and efforts.

Looking ahead, nominations for the new Chair, Vice Chair, and Community Representatives will be conducted before our next meeting in December.
