Thank you to City Of Canada Bay
City of Canada Bay Council is a founding member of the PRCG and has supported the ‘Our Living River’ mission to make the Parramatta River swimmable again over the last 10 years.
In March this year, the PRCG and Council held a joint community event at Bayview Park as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations.
Over the last five years, we have had the opportunity to work with Council on several key projects, including the opening of Bayview Park Baths, McIlwaine Park foreshore and Bayview Park upgrades, bushcare and ecological health programs, First Nations engagement and the Reconciliation Action Plan.
At a thank you morning tea held on Tuesday 18 June, the PRCG presented the Council with a framed photo of the Bar-tailed Godwit to acknowledge their considerable support over the past five years, and the enduring connection between the two organisations.
We look forward to continuing to work with them on current and future projects that improve the health of the Parramatta River.
